Endless Summer Mixtape

Even though it’s still 100 degrees outside, we can’t help but get a little sad at the thought of summer coming to a close. In just a few weeks, school will be back in session, the traffic will get worse and vacations will end, but we’ve put together an “Endless Summer” playlist filled with fun, vibrant tunes that will let you hold onto summer all year round!

Spoon – Don’t You Evah

This is a great song! It’s catchy and definitely makes you want to dance. And of course, who doesn’t love Britt Daniel! – Liz

Beach House – Used to Be

The “coming home any day now” portion at the end of this song is both beautiful and haunting and listening to it while watching the waves hit the beach is serene. – Tara

Santana – Smooth ft. Rob Thomas

Reminds me of the summer of 1999 after my first year of college and it played all the time on the radio. – Anna

The Dirty Heads – Lay Me Down ft. Rome

I went to Hawaii the summer after I graduated high school and this song was on the radio everywhere we went so every time I hear it, it takes me back to the beach. – Laura

Queens Of The Stone Age – Go With The Flow

QOTSA is one of my favorite bands; this song is upbeat – furiously upbeat – and almost dares you to get on the road and drive! – AC

Commodores – Machine Gun

Funky 70s song that sounds like it was made for a pool party in the middle of summer. – Reece

Weezer – Island In The Sun

This song has always made me feel happy! Maybe it’s the cute fuzzy animals in the video or simply just the beat. – Melissa

The Lovin’ Spoonful – Summer In The City

“Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty” says it all! – Adrienne

The Strokes – The Modern Age

My musical anthem of summer. You never want the sunshine to end. – Jessica

Shakira – Waka Waka

This tropical tune will take you back to the summer of 2010, when it was the theme song for the FIFA Men’s World Cup! – Becky

Hozier – Jackie And Wilson

Fun and peppy but romantic, and who doesn’t like a little summer romance? – Katelyn
