Grab a tiara and get ready to swashbuckle over to the Frank Erwin Center later this fall when Disney Junior Live On Tour! Pirate & Princess Adventure comes to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center Dec. 22! This brand new live stage production from Disney Junior features characters from the smash TV hits “Sofia the First” and “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.”
Also on call is the lovable 6-year-old toy physician Doc McStuffins visiting with a special interactive pre-show. And no Disney appearance would be complete without the participation of well-known characters like Cinderella, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
Although the actual show is a few months away, why not enjoy the fun today? Celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year with some kid activities featuring characters from the upcoming production! Each of these can be downloaded from our website.
Make Your Own Tiara
Disney Junior has a new princess in town and her name is Sofia. She and her step-siblings Amber and James have all kinds of royal adventures on “Sofia the First.” Sofia wants everyone to feel like a princess and presents a pretty neat activity the whole family can enjoy: making tiaras! To begin, download the template sheets, gather the kids and create personal tiaras so everyone can play and pretend.
YoHo Summer Scrapbook Page
Jake and his pirate pals Izzy and Cubby are having loads of exciting adventures this summer on their show “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.” One of his favorite ways to remember all of the adventures is to make a scrapbook page! Austin has just as many opportunities for kids to enjoy summer fun. Use the YoHo Summer Scrapbook Page to memorialize every family activity during this vacation period.
Doc McStuffins Check-Up Check List
Back to school is just around the corner and lots of kids will be headed to the doctor for an annual check-up or maybe even yearly vaccinations. One way to lessen the anxiety associated with the experience is to play pretend clinic at home beforehand. Everyone’s favorite toy doctor is on the case with an inventory of “tests” that families can use to practice being a patient with a beloved stuffed animal. The Check-Up Check List and coloring sheet are available for download at our website.
